Let’s say you are promoting a fashion store:
Product Price: MYR 200
Shipping Fee: MYR 10
Discount Applied: MYR 20
If the advertiser calculates Sale Amount based on the product’s listed price (excluding shipping), the Sale Amount would be:
MYR 200
If the advertiser deducts the discount before calculating the Sale Amount, it might be recorded as:
MYR 180 (MYR 200 - MYR 20 discount)
Always check the offer’s “Commission Structure” to understand how the Sale Amount is defined for that specific advertiser.
Determines Your Commission
Your earnings are often calculated as a percentage of the Sale Amount.
Example: If the commission rate is 8% and the Sale Amount is MYR 200, your commission is MYR 16.
Helps You Track Sales Performance
By reviewing the Sale Amount across campaigns, you can see which products or categories bring in higher-value purchases.
