Why a Missing Conversion Request May Be Rejected on Involve Asia

Why a Missing Conversion Request May Be Rejected on Involve Asia

When you submit a Missing Conversion Request, we will review your claim based on the details and proof you provide. In some cases, the request may be rejected if it does not meet the tracking, program, or submission criteria.

Common Reasons for Rejection

  1. Request submitted after the allowed time frame

    • Missing Conversion requests must be submitted within 90 days from the purchase date.

    • Any request beyond this window will be automatically declined.

  2. Purchase made outside the offer’s cookie period

    • If the purchase date is beyond the cookie validity stated on the offer page, the transaction cannot be tracked or credited.

  3. Unsupported device or platform

    • Some offers only track conversions on specific devices (e.g., Mobile Web, iOS App, Android App, or Desktop Web).

    • If the purchase was made on an unsupported platform, it will not be eligible.

  4. Offer was paused, expired, or inactive at time of purchase

    • Conversions are not tracked when an offer is not active.

  5. Non-compliance with promotion methods

    • Using unapproved or prohibited promotion methods (e.g., brand bidding, incentivized traffic) will void the request.

  6. No matching click record in the tracking system

    • If the advertiser’s tracking system does not detect a valid click from your affiliate link before the purchase, the request will be declined.

  7. Order cancelled, refunded, or payment failed

    • If the customer did not complete payment or later cancelled the order, the conversion will not be approved.

  8. Reported too early for manually tracked offers

    • Some offers have manual tracking and longer reporting delays. If a missing conversion is reported too soon, it may be rejected because the conversion has not yet been processed.

  9. Duplicate missing conversion reports

    • If the same conversion is reported more than once, the duplicates will be rejected.

  10. Incomplete or incorrect submission details

    • Providing the wrong Order ID, missing mandatory fields, or incorrect sales amount in your submission can result in rejection.

How to Reduce the Chances of Rejection

  • Always check the offer details page before promoting to understand:

    • Tracking rules and tracking type

    • Allowed promotion methods

    • Cookie period and validation timelines

  • Wait for the standard tracking delay (especially for manually tracked offers) before submitting a missing conversion request.

  • Submit the request as soon as possible after confirming it is missing, and within the 90-day limit.

  • Provide complete and accurate information, including valid Order IDs and sales amounts.

  • Include proof of transaction (order confirmation, receipt, booking ID) whenever possible.

  • Avoid prohibited promotion methods to ensure compliance.

You can track your clicks, conversions, and offer status in your Conversion Report before submitting a Missing Conversion Request. This can help identify if the issue is due to delays, offer pauses, or other technical reasons.
